Do I need a waste licence to use the DEFRA submission plans?

Yes. These plans file waste movements and returns on your behalf, so you must be registered as a producer, handler, carrier, broker or dealer. We ask for the registration number when you subscribe.

Who remains responsible for the waste data?

You do. Duty of care and the accuracy of the data stay with the waste holder. We submit as your agent against data you attest to. Our upper-tier licence CBDU571842 lets us carry, broker and deal; it does not make us your compliance guarantor.

Is there a minimum term?

No. Plans run monthly and you can cancel from the billing portal at any time, which keeps you free to move while the waste tracking regulations are still changing.
